Your claim is if it's copyrighted material then google won't rank it.

OP wants to scrape the whole website, let's say it's your site seofarmer.com and people advised him NOT to scrape your site.
Then he asked why people were allowed to copy product information and rank.
My answer expained:
He's not allowed to copy your website as the content on your site seofarmer.com belongs to you and thus copyrighted.
On the other hand... the product stuff including pictures and descriptions are not copyrighted so he could use them freely.
Where did I say anything about google???

Better to pass it through Word AI to have a better chance at ranking. Lots of black hat methods still working with Big G. It's just a trial and error to find the golden niche for which it works.

Nice idea mate, I heard that google algorithms is scanning for copy-paste and automatically ranks you down if you get identified as a copy-paster
You need to figure out how you can automatically rearrange the sentences that they will still have proper meaning.

I suggest considering expired content. Find content archived on domains that expired (via archive.org or elsewhere). The chance of DMCA takedown must be lower than scraping currently live content.

And yes that easy.
You just changing words with other words from Grammarly to stop duplication...
Now you might realise why Grammarly sold on a black hat forum.

I'm assuming you already did an .xml sittemap lookup to see how much content and which urls the target site has.
If so, Use SEMRush or AHREFS to find WHICH CONTENT already ranks and CROSS REFERENCE THIS info with the KEYWORD DIFFICULTY of that ranking content
Once you find content of his that already rank for LOW COMPETITION keywords, FILTER by estimated monthly searches.
Once you have a list of urls.... MANUALLY REWRITE THESE
How? Look up BRIAN DEAN'S SKYSCRAPER technique - in other words, KILL the competition with BETTER organization, more thorough content, and better keyword targeting ... and VALUE - your rewrite must pack more value.
