As far as I know, Google will register the duplicate content and won't rank you. You could, however, rewrite the content. I am not 100% certain though.
but I checked out many of the websites copy the content from different sources and google them too.

news websites are applied to different rules in regard to duplicate content. As long as you do other things legit, duplicate content only in news posts will not hurt you. However it's extremely difficult to rank in news category and you need to have original pages other than news.

You need to rewrite the articles themselves but anything that has a quote or “ around it, needs to be the same.

OP, i beg you to take few days and read about basics of SEO. Try with very basic guides.

Ofcourse not pal!! If you r looking for a gud ranking then a strict no for copied content. Rewritting an article is still ok but unless you put in fresh stuff google wont push your ranking ahead. Also there is alwayz a chance for getting into plagiarism issues if at all the original site where you copied d entire stuff gets to see dis. A gud SEO is done alwayz using gud content and updating it from time to time.

Copy/paste will forever put you in lower rankings than the original source. The "news SEO" is a lot different than others but you can't hope to achieve something with this method. As some have suggested try to rewrite, spin or enrich the content somehow. Changing the title a bit can help you a lot too.

Report copied content to Google: So once you have identified your copied content, go to the Google DMCA page and select submit a legal request

Actually i see some articles 100% copy + paste ranked in the first page

I really wouldn’t post content that is 100% copied. However, you can get away with quotes in the news business. As long as you cite your sources, you can use the other news sites’ stories. On the other hand, I have seen copied news content before, but I for one always look for the original content, so your drop-off rate may increase.

No it doesnt work that way...you will get penalised...better start with fresh good quality content if you want Decent results..

Obviously you will not do that. You may found some archived PLR articles from some infoproducts of past of some niches and place some content like that on your site if nobody else still haven't used it yet. But just copy paste from somewher - for sure no, assuming it's already indexed.
