Can I request to be temporary banned?

Can I request to be temporary banned from the forum for a certain period without getting an infraction?
I know that sounds weird.
The doctor said I need to stay away from my PC and smartphone for three weeks. I managed to get a VA to take care of my ongoing online operations but I can’t stop myself from checking the forum during the day.

Thats why I'm already in love with BHW. You wouldn't see a reaction like that in other communitys, at least the ones where I were before I found BHW. In other communitys mods would either ignore a request like that or say "no".

DAMN this shouldn't be a problem with forums, this should be problem about other social media platforms and shit like that ... just saying

Some communities can give permanent ban for such requests. :) :)
