Can i increase someone youtube video views?

I want to know if i can promote someone else YouTube video through adword or any other paid platforms with just YouTube video link. I want to promote YouTube videos of my clients. Is there any legit ways to promote YouTube video with just URL link?

Of course you can promote someone's YouTube video through your own Adword. But if you need analytics to define your audience, you need to link to their YouTube Channel account with of course, their permission.

So, it means i can do it. I can promote someone YouTube video through adword campaign.

The main purpose of this is to get views for my client using Adword Video Campaign.

I also talked about this with google forum but i got a mixed response. One expert said that i can do this and set everything in my account and just need a URL link, but the other said i can't do this through mine instead i need to this all through client ad account.

Can you please clarify this to me?

From my point of view, this is how it looks like.

If you are planning to advertise for your clients, then you can consider yourself a Marketing Agency. An agency with multiple Ads Account to manage multiple clients. One ad account per client. Meaning if you have 1000s of clients, you need to have 1000s of ad account. You can't have 1 ad account for 1000s client. If you want to collect data on their YouTube channel, you need their permission to link your Ads Account to their Channel. If you do not need to collect any data and it is just views, then you do not need to link the Ads Account to their Channel.

Last, remember to do a video campaign and not traffic campaign.
