I’ve seen sites get huge spikes in traffic using aggressive tactics, but the real question is whether it translates to leads or real revenue.

black hat can pull traffic fast and in some niches that does convert, especially impulse or low trust offers. the problem is lead quality and lifespan once rankings drop or a hit comes, the revenue usually disappears too. most people making real money use it as a burner strategy, not a long term lead asset.

Black hat can push traffic fast, but quality leads are hit or miss. It works for quick money or testing, not for building trust or long-term clients.

No indeed, it often doesn’t translate to leads and sales.

Over the years we had multiple clients cancel service with us for this reason. We have increased their rankings and traffic but return was not there.

Yeah it can pull leads, but it’s messy leads most of the time.

I’ve seen black hat stuff drive big traffic spikes, rankings jump fast, forms fill up etc. but quality is all over the place. a lot of junk, bots, freebie hunters, ppl who dont convert well. works better in niches where users dont care much about brand trust.

The bigger issue is lifespan. you might make money short term, but when rankings drop or domain gets hit, the lead flow just dies. so yeah revenue is possible, but its more like churn and burn model, not stable pipeline. depends if you’re building an asset or just milking traffic while it lasts.
