Hi I have a YouTube channel, and over the course of a year it did nothing. But in the last few months I have been adding videos. YouTube says that I have approximately $450 in gross revenue, and my estimated earnings are $310. Only 1video been doing this over the course of this month. My cpm is $6 and there's 180,000 views on this video. Is this right? When does Adsense count them? The video is doing 40,000 a day now give or take, and YouTube updates my analytics everyday but don't count half my views.Any help understanding will be greatly appreciated.

Your YouTube views and Ad views will be completely different. A lot of people use some sort of ad blocker which is why analytics is a lot less than what you would think.

The users that actually click on the ad are the users that bring you the money. So if from 40.000 only 17560 click on the ad from them you will get your revenue. Good luck with the YT channel! ;)
