Hey guys, I'm looking to buy a new domain at the moment, and I was wondering if you guys could tell me if there is much difference between . (n e) t and . (c o) m if we're talking about search rankings and the rest... does google prefer . (co)m over . (ne)t?
Would love to hear your suggestions!

Always go with .com if possible not really for Google but because of branding and direct traffic

Just go with .com

Only consider .net when .com is no longer available.

the .(co)m domain is taken but the .(ne)t is not taken... so should i just go with the .(ne)t or change the domain name around a bit?

As the others have said, no difference in regards to SEO but .com is more brandable.

okay thanks for your advice! btw is 10gbs of disk space enough for a website which purely posts pictures as its main content?

It really depends on how many images you want to post Anyway, disk space is one of the cheapest things these days.

good order. I just picked up my first .org the other day. first time .net failed me hahah....I rarely pull .coms

.com is king. .co is a good choice these days as an alternative brand play - I see more and more start-ups turning to it.. .net, .org, .me these are great alternative to .coms as well. .info, .biz are decent when you're looking for a Domain to build out for SERP originating traffic.
