Buying wholesale without VAT number

Hello,

After doing a quick research on the forum I saw that this topic has not been addressed before.

My question is rather simple so I'll dive right into the point. As you may already know sites like alibabba require the user to provide a valid VAT number in order to place an order.

In my country however wholesalers are heavily taxed; which means that, by providing a VAT, almost all profit will be spend on taxes.

I assume that there is a way to bypass this problem. Is there a way to buy wholesale without VAT?

if you buy from within the EU as a business within the EU you do not pay for VAT upfront, but since VAT is applied upon the sale then you need to report it and pay it after you sold item to client.
Even if you bought it without VAT from Asia, using some bonded warehouse, you will need to at some stage still pay the VAT - the sales tax.
