Buying an .email TLD

Can someone please tell me the cons of using uncommon TLD's like .club, .guru, .email?

I heard that uncommon TLD's might be bad for SEO, but it doesn't bother me as I'm not going to do any SEO on my website. I'm planning to buy an .email domain and send traffic from my email campaigns there. In other words, this will be nothing but a co-branded affiliate landing page only for email traffic. So is there anything I should know or consider before buying such domain in this case?

Using a .com TLD is recommended, because it provides better trust than the other TLDs.
