Like many of you have done my fair share of link wheels. I still use them in some situations today. Even better when you think of each link site as a buffer.

The best thing about it was I could create a buffer. Purchase the cheapest links I can find. If they are real shit and google did not like them just dump it and ask for a refund or redo on another 2.0 site. It is a real win win scenario.

I have found my self using them less and less nowadays. Spending more time on the white hat side of things.

Anybody else doing the same thing. Am I crazy to give up my old ways? Buckling down and creating good long form content has just been doing so well.

Love to hear others recent experiences.

Am I the only one still using buffer sites?

Almost all here are using buffers. I think none is using link wheels, at least not close ended.

right because close ended are too easy to loose on. Also makes it easier for google to pick them out.

I use buffer sites although I too have been moving towards whitehat-ish style SEO. I still use RankerX and GSA SER daily but I've been doing a lot with IFTTT and relevance stacking. Sending relevant tweets to all my T1 and T2 links seems to be giving a boost. I'm using Index Inject to get the Tweets indexed. Expensive captcha costs but it's working in conjunction with mid-level PBN links.
