Hey!

So we run ads in a restricted area (Pharma) and I want to try adding a bridge page (age gate) that we run the ads to, then to the main pharma page.

Basically the concept will be Facebook Ads > Landing Page that has Logo, "Are you over 21+" and a Yes/No box that both link to the shop page.

Will we get shut down right away? We deal with a lot of rejections currently already, so hoping this cant be much worse.

Any experience/help would be great - we are working towards having "agency"/long rep accounts on rotation/farm which I think is the best bet but wanted to check in.

Thanks!

I see a lot of people getting this restriction, use synonyms for the banned word, change the image to avoid AI scanning

We are fairly successful at what we do, its not so much these issues. We run ads with almost no text, direct to site - and use text-based ads that avoid using anything to outrageous. Out ads always pass, but overtime they end up just getting rejected for some reason or another (Normally due to them being "Drugs or Pharmaceuticals"

Thats why I feel like its scanning the page - so thinking running a bridge would circumvent that

Thanks for the reply!

Change images, content, videos regularly to avoid being banned

I believe you won't get shut down right away, but when facebook finds out you will get shut down permanently.

I think it can work for a while. Until Facebook scans, your ad will not be approved

“Are you over 21?” is reasonable, but I think you should still add something to confirm the transparency of the drug

Products on FB advertising medicine are often rejected because of exaggerating the product's uses, which is very difficult to correct.

Drug ads are easily banned on Facebook because they often exaggerate the effect. You can use the oil masking tool or blur images and videos, use synonyms or use special characters for offending words. Good luck!

You should limit misleading language about the drug's uses, and the hidden page should not display any related information

Medicine is a difficult product to advertise on Facebook because it offers many unrealistic uses. You need to blur images and videos, and pay attention to avoid misleading words

You need to check that the image complies with the regulations, usually the rejection errors often come from the images and videos you upload.

Rejection errors often come from the content and images in the advertisement. You should review the content because in pharmaceuticals there are many sensitive words that are on the advertising ban list

You should be careful when writing down the uses of your medicine because some uses are not realistic. It's very easy to get an account banned.
