Hi i had a custom bot built and had the builder give me a way to license the bot so i could charge to use it. the bot is working fine for everyone except one person. he is getting this error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" it has to be something that has changed on his p.c. because its working fine for me on both my p.c's. Its a bot the logs into a website and completes actions. I though at first it might be a location difference on the site but i had him download tunnelbear and set his location to the same as mine and that is not it. so if any one can tell me what would cause the error " Object reference not set to an instance of an object" that would be great. the creator of the bot is unresponsive.
    thanks

p.s. please do not ask what the bot does as i am not trying to use this to sell it or get around paying for a sales form.
please do not p.m. to ask either. if you are a custom bot builder you may contact me so i have your details when i need an bot built since the person i was using has gone M.I.A.

This usually happens when some type of data object is used without first making sure it's not null. It's a bug that will have to be fixed by a coder.

ok but the software only has a problem on one pc and works fine everywhere else. if it was a code issue wouldn't it be the same on every pc?

Not really. Different input and we don't know how it's coded.

Very possible and probable. Also could be whatever it's scraping or collecting. There are lots of reasons that will have to be fixed by a dev.
