Boost YouTube Channel with Facebook Ads?

Hi Guys

Does anyone have experience with boosting their YouTube channel with Facebook ads?

I can imagine that the YouTube algorithm likes this very much if you send traffic to a video from outside (facebook).

Would YouTube suggest it to more people, so that you can use this as a good lift?

My experience the google ads are more price efficient. Plus they are already on the platform you want them on.

If you have facebook threshold ad accounts, you can do it because it is cheaper than google ads. Youtube will suggest it to more people if the users engage with your content irrespective of whether you use facebook ads or google ads

What you need to understand about Facebook ads is that Facebook doesn't really want to send anyone outside of its platform. So you'll get reports of clicks but when you look at your YouTube metrics, the click won't always be reported as a view. This is because there's a separation action required for the user to actually go to the YouTube video. The page for the video will display but the user will have to click to play the video. Most will just close your ad and continue scrolling on FB.

YouTube ads work well if you want people to actually view your videos. But these views from YouTube ads don't count towards your overall metrics if you're trying to make the minimums for the partner program.

as someone said earlier, i would suggest to use google ads, its logical when someone type your keywords into the google it should appear there. Facebook wont be happy with sending their users outside the platform BUT if you have tresholds accs u may try it

fb ads more costlier than g ads, there is no much diference after running ads

FB ads hella pricey. Run Youtube Ads (Skippable Instream, restrict to Youtube network only) and target using keywords, OR build a mega list of placements you want your stuff to show up on.

As far as YouTube videos are concerned, there are no subscriber ads on Google ads, like how we have for Facebook Ads.
1) Through FB Ads manager select ‘Website visits’ / ‘Traffic’.
2) Target the right audience that suits your brand and select the device as mobile.
‘Link clicks’ will be optimization for ad delivery. Facebook will show your ad to someone who tends to click on it.
3) As it is a ‘website visit’ ad format, you need to insert a link. Now add ‘Your YouTube channel link along with ?sub_confirmation=1’.
For Example :-
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCekgzjs5Mj9fkNY9QL8xFAQ?sub_confirmation=14) Publish the campaign and see the results in YouTube analytics.
You must be wondering what this sub_confirmation=1 will make a difference?
When a user tries to click on the URL, it opens with a pop like in the attached image (in mobile or app).
This will act as a call to action to proceed further. Personally I’ve seen 4x jump in terms of subscriptions by using this simple hack.
Once again this is a nice "hack" I read somewhere which I am sharing.

Since it's not deep linking into the mobile App if someone clicks on the ad, YouTube will be opened in a browser window where most users are not logged in.
In other words, many will not bother to log into their account = many lost potential followers
