Bookmarking Traffic

Alright, I don't know if this is posted in the right section but...

I know that people say that bookmarking can get you backlinks and stuff. But the same people say you get traffic from them too.

I'll bastardize a quote I read on here "you might get sandboxed by google for duplicate content but you will make up for it with bookmarking traffic".

My question is, how to get this magical bookmarking traffic? Especially if you got competition on your ass like a lion in heat? Am I supposed to have 100 posts each submitted to 100 different sites?

Anybody have good success from bookmarking and swear by it? If so, how do you do it?

There are alot of people having success with bookmarking (I am not one of them as I have not really tried it). However, obviously the more book marking sites you submit to the better chance of being seen you have got and better traffic you will get.

I would suggest that you take one bookmarking site at a time and learn how people are using it to market. Then over time you will become proficient in their use and when you open a new site, you will be able to get good traffic within a few hours.

Can't say that I have ever really seen much traffic from bookmarking sites. Use them mainly to get my sites indexed. Writing an article about my niche and submitting to ezine articles brought me in some nice traffic recently.
