Hi guys,

I purchased BMD like a month ago, but I wouldn't say my results are that "hot".
I guess I don't use the correct workflow.

If you have ANY idea, that would be much appreciated.

Why I use BMD :

- just for the backlinks. I don't expect any visitor from these websites.

- to get backlinks to my mini/micro niche websites

How I use it :

- Create 1 or 2 accounts on ALL social bookmarking sites (default bookmarking sites delivered with the app) for each mini/micro site

- Run the campaign and bookmark all services in about a 3 weeks timeframe for the 5 main pages of each mini/micro sites

Results :

To be honest only a very very small amount of backlinks appear in Yahoo Site Explorer (probably around 5 backlinks).
At the present time i'm using backlink energizer and backlink indexer on the social bookmarking profiles but it's sooooo slow.

What am I doing wrong ?

Thanks for any help or lead !!!

Cheer,

Everything you are doing is right..spot on but...

You need to do more...

Minimum of 10 accounts on each site, preferably 50+
Use proxies (her I go again) but a dozen private ones should do fine.
BMD should have hundreds of URL's to hit, perhaps bookmarking 1 URL every 15 seconds on one bookmarking site on one account.
2/3rds of the URL's SHOULD NOT BE YOURS.
So you need hundreds. Get it to scan for ALL your URL's on a site that it can BM, get it to BM every page of yours it can find.
Install a digg, tweet delicious counter on your pages (free standing orif you use WP there are plugins)

You run the sucker 8 hours a day on your spare PC or laptop.

It doesn't take much bandwidth, if you run it nice and slow (like you should) just a few bytes every 10 seconds or so
That way each account only posts once every 40 minutes, and every 2 hours on one of your URL'S.

But you have 100 accounts, so you are in fact getting a bookmark on one of your URL's every 30 seconds or so.

LOad up a load of generic RSS feeds for it to post on (the more the better, get hundreds CNN, BBC, Sky, Microshite, The dizney channel, whatever the hell you can find sites that DO NOT BENEFIT from being bm'ed by you cause they are PR7/8 already!)

You are doing exactly the right thing, get some proxies and scale the sucker up.

"Yeah, but this one goes to 11"

For 1 or 2 accounts and a quick blast, BMwiz was probably a better bet, Demon is a set up and go to bed tool.

Finally, on it's own it's only "ok" as a PR raiser and traffic bringer. Get some web2.0 stuff and articles on the top ranking article sites pointing to you. Buy a few hundred keyword anchored links and a few thousand generic "10 a penny" links (none keyword anchored) then point BMD at all your articles, web2.0 sites and every URL on your sites that can take it.

You need several ways of getting traffic and rank - the more the better.

@ Scritty : Great info there! Thanks! I suppose you use anti-captcha account? If yes which one do you suggest?

Scritty, thanks for your sage advice. Can you explain the above, where to get those links? "buy a few hundred..."

Decaptcha is ok, cheap. FOr a tool like this I don't use premium services, you are bookmarking nice and slow, and some will fail anyway (no dc service is perfect)

If you want links look here on BMW.

The best ones are where you can use your keywords as HTML anchor text, but generic URL links should be $10 for a couple of thousand.

Mix up your linking, don't "footprint" yourself. I like to have 5 or 6 different methods I can go to at any time to avoid making an obvious pattern and to give me far more scope.

Scrapebox is good for generic links (soon as you add anchor text to your link - expect it to get deleted no matter how good your comment is)

Also don't "point" it at your main URL and spam - you'll get "Aksimet-ed".

So get some WEB2.0 sites and some articles on the high PR article sites and "boost" those as well.

As part of a multi pronged linking strategy (RSS submit, Directory submits, bought links, article blasting, WEB2.0 structures and the rest) BM'ing is a real boost.

Also - once you've set up the accounts it's So darn simple, just turn on a low powered PC, load up your links and proxies, press "go" and go to bed.

Take care

Very nice, thanks a lot for your explaination.

I wasn't sure I needed more accounts as there is somewhere a formula to "calculate" how much you can bookmark without getting red flags. By reading how you use it, it's very clear that this formula is extremely conservative !

I was already using the "rss camouflage" but I will add some more.

I'm definitely going to follow your advices on one of my older site.

Cheers !
