Quick rant.
Everyone keeps saying "blogging is dead" and then I look at their sites and it's all AI-generated fluff with zero personality. No wonder nobody reads it.
What actually works:
Biggest mistake I made early on was trying to please everyone. Wrote the most generic stuff possible. Zero traction.
- Write like you talk - Stop trying to sound professional. People connect with real voices
- Answer one question really well - Forget 3000 word monsters. Sometimes 800 words hits harder
- Consistency > perfection - One decent post a week beats one "perfect" post a month
- Have an actual opinion - Vanilla content gets ignored. Take a stance on something
Started writing like I actually give a damn and suddenly people started sharing my stuff.
Blogging works. Boring doesn't.
That's the post
