Blogging isn't dead, you're just doing it wrong

100% agree. Most “blogging is dead” takes come from generic content.
If you actually have a voice and a clear angle, it still works.

Quick rant.

Everyone keeps saying "blogging is dead" and then I look at their sites and it's all AI-generated fluff with zero personality. No wonder nobody reads it.

What actually works:
  • Write like you talk - Stop trying to sound professional. People connect with real voices
  • Answer one question really well - Forget 3000 word monsters. Sometimes 800 words hits harder
  • Consistency > perfection - One decent post a week beats one "perfect" post a month
  • Have an actual opinion - Vanilla content gets ignored. Take a stance on something
Biggest mistake I made early on was trying to please everyone. Wrote the most generic stuff possible. Zero traction.

Started writing like I actually give a damn and suddenly people started sharing my stuff.

Blogging works. Boring doesn't.

That's the post

I personally would find very hard reading a blog of an interesting person - i would rather follow them on instagram/social media

You are telling facts. I think by focusing on solving reader problems clearly rather than length or complexity, and consistency plus originality usually drives better blogging results.

Great tips for beginner bloggers. Nice share for the community.
