Blogging is officially dead now

Now I have new thoughts not laugh please. Some people say blogging is death ( the new google algo) some saying documentation is better, because big sites do not blogging they have documentation.

Uffff it's gaga, it's weird....

So, but what exactly is documentation? A slideshare , a pdf ??? A medium article?

Is when I'm doing blogging on my site every day not some type of documentation too?

I'm little bit confused now.....

Yep, but media news sites who do "blogging" ,meaning pushing out hundreds articles a day , for them it's not get harder....

OK, they get special treatment from Google because they are all wef members....

Some people saying documentation is better than blogging, big sites doing documentation, but what that exactly means?
 
Depends if you got hit by HCU or not. All those sites got worse and worse since then. But if your site survived, you should be good in 2025 too.

It's tougher for new blogs though, but I guess you can always take the easy route and go for no-comp kws, although that's not very easy to monetize.

Ahhhh, this HCU algo....? Helpful Content Update ? We know all google likes as all other WEF members to speak in dystopian language .....

What google means exactly with that crap? Making your content, posts, articles more commercial intent than informational?

When google prefer to rank more commercial content, so that when you do blogging, you are forced to use blogging platforms or medium ,when you want to rank your articles ?

Do I have the right thoughts now? Wow, what a great beginning of a new year ufffff...

As long it's done with discipline and done like a proper business it doesn't fail. Do it like a professional, and keep learning, researching.

I think it's only for some specific industries/sectors.
Because AI still can't give easy to understand response for some questions.
I've personally experienced it.
 
I dont think blogging is dead, the competition is still very much tough out there. You say that probably because your blogs are not getting the right engagement.
 
Well yea blogs are very dificult nowadays but i think its far away for blogs to be dead
Lets think about review products as an example .People will not go to chatgpt to read reviews and they will still read a blog article

Blogging isn’t dead, but it’s harder for average bloggers. Big players dominate due to resources and SEO authority. Costs for quality content, tools, and marketing are high. However, niche focus and strategic effort can still lead to success. It’s challenging, not impossible.

Great question! Blogging and documentation both have value — they just serve different purposes.


Blogging is more conversational and topic-driven (news, guides, opinions), while documentation is structured info meant to help users understand or use a product, tool, or service (like manuals, how-to pages, API docs).


A Medium article or PDF can be documentation if it's explaining something technically or clearly.


So yes — if your blog posts are solving problems or explaining tools in detail, that’s also a form of documentation. Just keep your audience in mind and focus on usefulness!
 
I would not say per se blogigng is dead, it's an google search result shift, big sites are now more dominant in the serps, and commercial intent content. Informational content is littl ebit behind at google page 3,4,5.....
To beat that I would say write your content example you offer seo service, then write content about seo so that it look slike more commercial intent , the title and introduction ands google will rank you higher again. Or use slightly controversial titles ans introduction (to not mess with that in extreme) works good for specific niches, and google will rank you. The seo service offer eaxample I mentioned; build category pages, they rank good in google, build your Home site as a hub, analyze the big site of cnn.com/europe to know what I mean.

With that site structure I best you will ranking good in these times.

Blogging isn’t dead t’s just changed. Sure, it’s tougher now with AI and big companies dominating, but that doesn’t mean there’s no room left.
