Is blogging in Spanish profitable?
I am fluent in Spanish but not so in English.
If you guys know of someone blogging in Spanish and making some money, please let me know.
I read that Adsense /Ezoic pays almost nothing for Spanish traffic…
Writing in English is very cumbersome to me. But maybe it’s not worth it.

It may not be as profitable as English but, foreign languages mostly have keywords that are easy to rank for, because they don't have as much competition as English

Also AI content much easier to rank on foreign languages, so if you can take advantage of this opportunity, I think you can make money too

"Blogging in Spanish" is a very broad term to use, there are plenty of niches & GEOs that would make a big difference,
Just for reference, Spanish is one of the top languages used on the Internet worldwide, there are plenty of markets as for English,

For example, if you're having some decent traffic from Spain for the Pharma/health/insurance type of niches,
It won't be the same as for Movies/General and similar types of niches with Venezuelan traffic,

Just do your research, you can find very profitable niches pretty much as in any other language(s)

By choosing another language you're eliminating a lot of competition. I'd say, give it a try.
I read a post on reddit some time back, someone was getting 5 million visits a month by just posting adult stories in a language other than English and most of them were translated from English. They just fixed grammar and changed the names.

Exactly, I feel like the most people blog with mostly English language and that’s brings alot of competition so you trying another language doesn’t sound like a bad idea.

You can get hits from certain regions around the world. I have blogs in Spanish too. But English should be your first choice. But if it is a local business, of course the local language

Well, you can't just monetize it with ads
If you are building a local language blog, you need to think about monetizing it in other ways like dropshipping, ecommerce, print-on-demand, courses, aff program, etc. In this situation you don't rely 100% on ad revenue

Thank you! I will give it a try as well.

In regional languages , there is one benefit that competition is less. So you can earn more with less efforts. There is highest competition in English language.

Spanish is one of the best Non-English languages to work on, as more than dozen countries speak the language, and the competition is very low.
I will start 2 or 3 niches and get at least one site on expired .es or .com.mx
With recent updates things are tricky specially when starting new websites, so it is good idea to start multiple sites, so one of them can pick up good right in start.
And don't expect good results without backlinks..

Yes, blogging in Spanish can be profitable, especially with niche topics. Try affiliate marketing or local sponsorships too!

don't they require you to be resident of these and provide documents ?

Godaddy has some CTLD options where they do not require any documentation, they just charge a little more and they say they will do the documentation part themself

If you speak Spanish fluently and feel comfortable creating content in the language, this might be worth it.

They say blogging is dead because of the updates...
