I have my first blog in a pretty competitive field. I want to perfect this blog so that I can implement what I learned into micro niche blogs later on. My main keyword isn't coupons, but it is close to it without getting into specifics. It's also a blogger page with Adsense, so I have to build my SEO correctly and carefully. I read on here that if you do it wrong, you can get banned.
Anyway, here is what I have done so far:
-Made 53 posts varying in length. I strive for a 100 word minimum. Most of my articles are 500+ words with keywords.
-Used Traffup and Like4Like to get my Twitter links shared
-Used Facebook to join relevant groups that don't mind me blasting my links
-Pinned all posts to Pintrest
-Placed two adsence ads at the top of my page near social sharing buttons
-JUST realized I could add Meta descriptions to Blogger and posts (I thought this was automatic), so I added the data to all my posts last night
I'm getting between 100 and 300 hits per day, and getting 2 app installs or affiliate purchases per day, so earning between $5 - 10 per day this week. I think my content is relevant and I could get a higher payout if I just got more traffic and exposure. What other white hat methods can I use on my site? I know Twitter is kind of black hat, but it seemed to work well.
