Hi guys,

I've bought a .com domain and I'm testing my new blog but when I type my domain in google, I can see "domain.com/test page Powered by Wordpres, Theme..." How can I remove my blog from Google? I'm planning to add it once I finalize it.

Make sure to check the settings in the wp-admin area, there is an option there that will unlist your site from a search engine.

But I recommend you to just leave it there, it will update itself, so when u are done it will take some days(usually a week) to show on google.

My friend, if you are going to test many times, use unlisted option from search engin or your site lost ranking/info on google.

Otherwise just leave it there no problem its will be change After some days
All the best

If you want to get rid of the test page, remove it so it 404s.
Check the title of your pages to make sure they don't include Wordpress.
In General Settings of your wordpress blog, the tagline is by default "Just another WordPress Blog." By default this will show in your search results. Be sure to change/remove it.

I don't want to get rid of the test page. I was just using domain.com/test to be able to edit my theme so that my friends can't see it's a wordpress blog when going to domain.com. But when they type domain.com in google, the test page is visible and it says "Wordpress Theme, etc..." So I'm afraid they find out that it's a blog :)

I already changed the tagline in settings and removed "Just another Wordpress blog". I've also checked the button : "Remove visibility from search engines" and I've also activated All In One SEO and wrote a description in the "Description" area but it's still showing as a Wordpress blog, etc.
