I have a new website about pet food. I want to rank it on Google with the help of SEO. But I can't understand which will be better for my website. White Hat SEO or Black Hat SEO. As a result I want to know difference between white Hat SEO and black hat SEO and please suggest me how I can rank my website. Thanks

I want to know difference between white Hat SEO and black hat SEO
white hat SEO = do what google tells you to do
black hat SEO = do what you can to rank (even if google - almost always - disapproves of it)

The problem is that google penalizes both WH and BH sites, so if you're using WH (as in, wait for people to link back to you) you'll grow beard and die of old age until google ranks you (and even if they rank you, they'll still target you with future updates, so it's just as unsafe as BH)

And the problem with BH is that your rankings are short-lived (up to 6 months at most), after which you get caught, deindexed, and never rank that domain ever again as google now blacklists domains they don't like. And they probably don't like 90% of the domains...

I think the best option is to go Grey Hat (as in, you still build links manually - which counts as Black Hat - but you do it at a safe pace, to avoid getting picked up by google's spam filters).

I can't understand which will be better for my website. White Hat SEO or Black Hat SEO.
grey hat, like I mentioned above

suggest me how I can rank my website.
well, this is tricky and requires you to first:

- understand the niche
- analyze your competition's strengths and weaknesses and capitalize on their weaknesses....

Usually, nowadays it comes down to authority. Google loves authoritative sites, which means sites with either high DA / DR scores, or high popularity in their niche, or both.

So, if you're not a big site in your niche (which you probably aren't), then your best bet is to focus on authority, both normal authority (DA / DR) and topical authority (covering your niche - pet food - in great detail).

Of course, there would be a lot more to explain about how to approach the ranking of your site, but it will be time consuming to explain everything here, so you either need to do research yourself, or hire someone to do:

- site + niche audit
- competitor analysis
- niche + keyword research
- site structuring and technical SEO
- content plan and link building plan

You'll have to probably pour $1000s into these things combined if you want to hire an expert, so be ready to spend if you go the paid route! You can hire someone from here to do these for you:

Very informative and detailed information. At first I wanna try myself.

You should not be banned in the long run because you are a company, so white hat SEO will be more advantageous for you in the long run.
How much time will be required if I follow white Hat SEO techniques?

Nowadays black hat SEO are not working according to google. They Don't like it. If you want to grow your business for long time you have to do White hat seo.

white Hat SEO long term and black hat SEO is very risky very short term.

For instant and risky resultsthe black hat SEO is best choice. For long term and reliable results white hat SEO right one..

Hey fuadkabir, Black hat SEO is a risky game that can get your site penalized by Google. It's better to focus on white hat SEO, which involves building quality content and getting natural backlinks. Think about creating helpful and informative content about pet food, and reaching out to pet-related websites for collaborations or guest posts. It might take a little longer, but it's the best way to build a sustainable and successful website. Good luck!

You are right.

I would suggest you to go with combination of blackhat and whitehat. If you are doing only whitehat it will be very difficult to rank higher and take longer period.
So using greyhat will be more affordable and can rank in decent time frame

Depends on your competitive keywords , if you update regular content for relevant keywords then you can focus on OFF-page ,make sure you diversify anchors while building links and use social media profile to get organic traffic.

Black Hat SEO involves tactics that violate Google's guidelines, risking penalties and even getting your site banned. White Hat SEO focuses on ethical and sustainable practices that build long-term authority. For your pet food website, stick with White Hat SEO. Build high-quality content, optimize for relevant keywords, and earn natural backlinks from reputable websites. It's a slower approach but much safer and more effective in the long run.

You can go with gray-hat SEO (a combination of white-hat and black-hat SEO). Both methods have some pros and cons. White-hat SEO is a little bit safer in penalties compared to black-hat SEO, but it takes more time or effort to rank on top. Blackhat SEO method can rank your keyword top in short term, but it's risky too. So try to go with a combination of those; that would be a better option.

In which part of SEO BH and WH can be used?

If I follow everything properly then in how many days can I see the results?
