What exactly will happen guys ?
i hear many stories and many articles !
Does anyone know what exactly will happen ?

for now Coinbase is keeping my 0,5 btc ;/ all transactions are Pending and started to be like Ponzi scheme

@vinku don't bother, some people don't get it yet..
If BTC will survive the hard fork for next half year, I am going to make tattoo with my adress in QR Code and second with private key encrypted with my name in aes256 ;)
It's perfect to have your money for "dark hour" directly on your body ;)

i would wait with that once quantum computers are more developed, then aes256 might not be so good anymore hahaha

The same thing that will happen with Y2K...nothing.
I remember the Y2K :D haha, I was watching TV with mother and waiting for world explosion but nothing happened except old clock got crazy ;)

for sure...we have 50 years for quantum computers, now they exist but they are working in different way, making computer to break aes256 is crazy thing like building elevator to the space ^^

with this fake money I could sent payment to China in seconds with small fees when banks are taking $80 ;)

Sending money (that might be worth nothing tomorrow or locked away by the wallet provider because they feel like it or stolen like mtgox) which has no buyer protection at all and cannot be spent in the real fuck world is stupid.

I'd rather pay the $80.

The course fluctuation is seriously the problem but it's going to stabilize in some time ;) according to wallet providers, you don't need to use them, I've made a mistake with coinbase but offline wallets are independent.

My personal opinion is that scammers will eventually bring this over hyped shit crashing down. Yeah there is big money to be made, but also big money to be lost. Not just losing money via a bad trade, but untraceable theft.

Bitcoin has never been stable unless you go back to when 1btc = nothing before the ex stock market pumpers and dumpers took an interest in it and began to market it.

Who decided bitcoin would fork?

We have a currency system that has worked for 1000's of years, why have hipsters decided to ruin it with QR codes and fancy words.

I don't think scammers will take it down, even if Coinbase would scam customers ;) The real problem comes with goverments. They can make agreement with central banks to stop any bitcoin transfers (blacklist exchange companies and their bank accounts). This would kill bitcoin if goverments are ready to close it and fight with ANY exchange company.
This requires international agreements and cooperation with internet providers. However, how when Japan invested in BTC and now it's legal currency with 200 000 ATMs and accepted in stores?
