BHW USERS BEWARE! mass host providers unmasked for dodgy doings!

A week or maybe less ago someone made a thread about all these hosting companies running nulled/cracked versions of CPANEL/WHMCS but i couldnt find the thread (maybe my searching wasnt good or it got deleted) but tonight i got bored and thought
HEY, lets verify atleast the first 2 pages of hosters at 12am.

ONLY 2 OUT OF THE 6 PINNED POSTS ARE USING LEGIT WHMCS/CPANEL
not only that
Legit: 14
Cracked/Nulled: 13

some of the cracked/nulled ones, not only pinned posts, but have been running it here since 2015.
seriously, 5 years and they cant afford a legit copy and willing to allow possible site leaks/exploitation?!

CRACKED/NULLED LIST

I have no issue posting all the ones i have found that are either charging people for a nulled CPANEL/WHMCS or risking peoples websites to go bye bye, as long as people say that they wanna see the list(and ill tag all the sellers as they should be).

obviously if mods dont want the list on here for whatever reason, i wont post it here, but if they dont mind and poeple want it, ill put it up.

Not when they charge U for cpanel when they're not even paying for it

You get what you pay for. This isn't at all surprising. Pretty shameful though, you accept paying customers you don't really have an excuse.

shameful is definitely the word.
i just cant believe there are hosts that are willing to lose everything because they dont want to pay for whmcs

Using null/cracked software in your end-product is the most stupid idea and nonsense
Not because of the unetichal side, if you're doing money with something then pay for it but the security and risk problems that it involves if a WP can get totally over with a single null/cracked plugin or theme imagine what could be the consequences for a cPanel

Thank god the host i am using is not in the list but nice find also why not just disclose the ones using nulled stuff so forum members can just stop using them just out them and we will hear there part of the story

Thanks for the mention @OP. We are using WHMCS for both of our domains: https://greencloudvps.com and https://greenserver.io
But not all providers in BHW are using WHMCS, so checking for verified WHMCS domains is not accurate in some cases.

Not surprised, but gotta be honest
If you don't do your own research before you buy, anything
then fault lies with you too

This is worse than shameful. Customers are paying for secure hosting. This is a glaring security issue for anyone. I have no interest in blackhat and I think a lot of people wouldn't want sites on a shared hosting to be vulnerable to hacker attacks because of greedy "web hosting" resellers, etc. Gosh, don't they have ANY standards? Any ethics? Any decency?

I tested a current host and they don't have a legit license on either their old domain or rebranded domain. I planned to switch hosting anyway because they don't have backups and you do get what you pay for but they have a lot of customers. Thankfully, the other hosting provider I use is big and is licensed.

What do you expect from companies that are selling at rock bottom prices ?

i think the most shocking part for me, other than over half the sellers are using nulled, is that when BHW mod approves a post, they dont mention anything about it or check.

youre not wrong. when its $6 for an ultimate 100+ cpanel creation, all these $1 per month domains make sense

Just fyi - I wouldn't trust this tool: https://www.whmcs.com/members/verifydomain.php

I just checked my domains via that tool and it shows: "This domain is not authorized to be using WHMCS."

I pay them 37.90$ monthly for two licenses.

Anyway, Just for the record - I appreciate your thoughts and totally support BHW maintain a legit software requirements from hosting companies. Black hat or not - this is a minimum requirement for safety of clients and their data.
