BHW Mobile Application

Hello Dear,
I would like to suggest for a BHW mobile application like gmail provides. It's low on resources and does the job pretty well. As of now, we have to browse the BHW website on mobile phone browser that takes lot of data transfer and time on slow mobile phone connections.
Right now, I feel following 3 option should be included within the BHW mobile phone application:

1. Check and reply PMs
2. "New post" alert on subscribed threads and ability to post on the threads also.
3. Versions for Iphone, android and nokia devices.

For other features a user can always browse the website through mobile phone browser but these 2 functions seem to me highly useful for the BHW mobile application.

Kindly, add your suggestions.

100% agree am actually on bhw more on my phone than my computer, I be on the go so a app would defiantly help

Good idea, but to save data transfer for mobile phone, you can use mobile web browser such as operamini or boltbrowser, which compatible with most cell phones. Boltbrowser is very good one (i'm using it right now to reply this thread), and it's free to install in your phone. Just google it, and you'll find the official website to download those mobile web browser.

That would be great. I'm very often on BHW through my phone And sometimes it's a bit slow

I'm on my iPhone right now, and apart from
bandwidth it's fine. Using an app would limit accessibility.

there is already an app for browsing forums, tapatalk, it just needs some files added to BHW's server(s) it's on Diamond Dave's list of things to do according to Harro, so just be patient. once its uploaded you can use tapatalk to view bhw

You'll always have option to use your mobile phone browser when you need to use all features.
The idea was to have an application that does not need much data transfer to post and reply because posting and replying to messages is text based; why wait longer for graphics to download when on the move and need to communicate faster. I love gmail mobile application 'cos it does it pretty well.
I can read and reply mails using application about 50% faster than actually using my mobile phone browser to browse gmail and check n reply.

Well, at the end, it's just an opinion and you were right about bandwidth and loading graphics adds to it.
