I'd imagine he did, what I really want to know is how hard. But it's been 3 months since his last update... Now would be a good time to come back.

I'm looking forward to see how Penguin affected his site's rankings.
My guess- It took a hit but he'll have his old traffic back soon. From what I've gathered in this thread it seems that he has a fairly high authority website with lots of good unique content.
If what people are saying about Google favoring solid content he'll be back up there soon. But that's just a guess.

You seem to continue having a steady stream of traffic. Keep up the good work. I could possibly make use of this same software at some point so I know exactly how to continue marketing my content on my sites.
Firstly, let me start by saying
1) I am posting in this thread against my own good judgement.
2) Yes, I did get hit by big G. But not like some here would have thought.
So here goes my update. I'll first reply to some who have used know me or didnt assume. i.e ron.ray and bigfoot1

You are right i didnt update this thread for a reason. and i'd like to keep that reason to myself. maybe i'll give a hint towards the end.

and you are right when you "he has a fairly high authority website with lots of good unique content". everyone loves good content and you can only ignore it for so long including The big G. and hence... Penguin affected me *only* so much. but not much as some might have thought. I lost about 1/3rd of the EXTRA traffic i had gained. but gained on others.
Now for the nay sayers! I am glad you all had good laugh! even thou it was at my expense.
The reason i did or did not login is a personal choice and matter. and i dont mean that sarcastically. reasons i would not like to talk about here. so Thank you for allowing me to keep that to myself. as for the reason i did not update this thread is because i choose not to do so and again i would like to keep the reason to myself.
maybe out of context: I once heard someone say in one other forum... "life is to short to to treat other like you would like to be treated".
I didnt like it but it did have a ring of truth to it. specially in todays world.
Now here are some stats or should i say FOOD FOR THOUGHT!

Disclaimer: I am not showing these stats to snub the nay sayers. I am showing these stats so that the new guys and aspiring webmasters can learn and understand that its all about how dedicated you are. nothing else matters.
Site 1 = almost double the traffic as much more traffic than
Site 2 = 5 time more traffic.
and a hint about what i was doing... at least for part of the time...
