Best WhiteHat Service on BHW

There are WH services here, for example article writing. Getting good, unique content is white hat. What you do with that content might be black hat. If you edit it to your liking and it has value and put it on your site then that is white hat. Sites like Forbes and the NY times pay writers and they rank just fine. If you contact websmasters to contribute an article to that site and they accept it that is also white hat if you are not paying for placement. Be careful with exact match anchor text in these situations and find quality sites, not content farm type sites.

Marketing it through your social networks is white hat and even buying links that have a no follow tag is white hat. Google terms say that buying links that pass page rank is black hat so buying a link on a very busy blog is ok as long as the link is no follow. If you think traffic vs Ranking then you get a better idea of white vs black, you might get lucky and even get rankings by putting stuff out that people see then link to naturally!

There is at least one BST that posts an article with no follow to a pretty big site in the BST forum, it might not help with ranking but may get you traffic which can lead to natural links later. Press releases are considered white hat, its for traffic but be careful to use your brand or naked url as a link and not exact match keywords, that is considered an attempt at gaming the search engines.

The only white hat method is create quality content or give things for free or something with some value to the community and then some of your readers will link your site, that's the most natural and white hat method, other than that can be grey or blackhat.

jayy09, do yourself a favor and disregard all answers you received in this thread about White Hat/Black Hat SEO. White Hat SEO does exist. You've just been misinformed.

The safest method is to have a buffer between your site and the links you're building. Something you can remove if needed.

Just because something isn't causing a penalty today doesn't mean that in 6 months it won't cause a penalty. Stay away from any automated link services linking to your site.

I like to focus on quality web 2.0s as buffers. Then I build less spammy links to those and the farther down the chain it is the less concerned I am about the spamminess of the links.

So to answer your question, there's not really any white hat service here. The majority of the services tend to suck. Many services have penalized sites of mine. Even stuff that was much more legit became a target for google.

I see some hardcore blackhat SEO using this method however i don't think a buffer site makes much difference. Just easier to remove all the bad links later when penalty occurs. Its the method of SEO used.

But yeah this went abit offtopic to my question. Does anyone know the best WHITEHAT/Grey hat (safer blackhat seo) on this forum?

There is a thin line between, I would say most of the "safer" SEO services works on the "grey" line. As long as you try to manipulate rankings against Google TOS, it would be counted as "grey"!

Hey OP,

This is the best way to rank your site in a safe and effective manner.

1. Manually create a handful of high quality web 2.0's from sites like weebly, tumblr, blogspot, etc

2. Then add an original hand written article to each web 2.0 and make sure it is roughly around 500-1000 words.

(Optimize the title and body content of each article for the given keyword you are trying to rank for)

3. After all this is done, wait a week and then from within the body of the article link out to your main site using your money keywords as well as raw urls and other variations

4. In addition to that it is good to also link out a few high PR authority websites that are in your niche

5. And finally embed some youtube videos, pictures and other helpful resources that add value to your readers

This should get you started! :)
