I don't get it, why a lot of you guys suggest to post video instead of pics ? How uploading videos on IG is better than uploading photos ?

I already did and I'm following people from the same ''group'' and posting videos too... I don't know if it takes time to gain...

Every beginning is hard OP. 900 followers is nothing, once you grow you will get more and more followers

Make sure your profile is complete. Do some research about the effective time to post the photos because the peak time post gets more visibility. Personally, posts on Sunday would be more visible. Make sure your posts are Quality and your niche based. Because the quality wins over the quantity.
Use some trending or popular hashtags on your photos will be a good reach for you. Do some contest from your profile. Example ask some questions on the captions of your photos. Promote your Instagram account to the use of your other social media accounts will help you to increase the followers.
