Lumen5 is shit now, it can only generate around 20 videos per month, no idea why they apply such a stupid move.

I would say if you have wondershare filmora stick to that its vey basic software for editing. Just go to youtube and watch some editing tutorial. If you choose other software like after effect, adobe premier pro it will have high learning curve and it will take time. I have edited so many videos in filmore for my youtube and its very easy.

I rarely heard it talked about but I love Offeo. Like Canva for video and they keep adding more assets.

you can use Videopad video editor . I heard Lumen5 is good too. If you are looking for animation then i would recommend Sparkol Videoscribe.

Use Avid it's professional video creation software ,used by many film editors you can download free version on avid's website.go there and register to download.

I'm personally using Sony Vegas Pro 13.0 and I find it quie intuitive and easy to learn, but the problem is with the subtle changes in color and contrast when rendering videos...
