Best SEO tools for Audting and rank tracking

I am looking for free alternatives fo paid tools to do website audit and rank tracking
Also it would be better if it helps in Backlink analysis

For free tools, Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster are solid starting points. They won’t show full backlink profiles, but they’re reliable for site audits and performance checks. For tracking backlinks and rankings, Ubersuggest (limited free version), Seobility, or Serprobot are decent picks. They’re not perfect, but good enough when you're starting out or testing a new project without spending much.

For free competitor analysis, it’s definitely more limited ,but still doable. Ubersuggest or Mangools (free versions) can give you a decent peek at top pages and some backlinks. Not super deep, but enough to spot trends. Also, SEO Minion is great for quick SERP and on-page checks right from your browser.

That said, if you're serious about digging into a niche, grabbing a $10 trial on Ahrefs or SEMrush is worth it. You’ll get way more out of a few days with full data than weeks of scraping from free tools alone.
 
You can try Ubersuggest or SEO PowerSuite’s free version. They cover basic audit and rank tracking features without any cost.
 
I have tested a few free tools for basic auditing and rank tracking. For audits, I often use Screaming Frog free up to 500 URLs and Seobility for quick overviews. For keyword tracking, SERProbot and WhatsMySerp work fine for small projects. For website audits and backlink analysis, Google Search Console is indispensable and free. You can also get a good overview from tools like Ubersuggest's free tier limited daily uses
or SEOptimer/Ahrefs' free site audit tools. For rank tracking, Google Search Console will show you keyword positions. Additionally, check out individual "free rank checker" tools you find through a quick Google search, as many offer a few daily checks without signup
