Best Scrapebox Setup???

Hi all,

I'm looking into buying a VPS for Scrapebox, and have a few questions.

1) Do I need a windows vps, or can i get a linux one, and install windows on it in a vmware installation.

2) How much bandwidth do i need. (1TB, more, or unmetered)
Lets say I leave scrapebox harvesting/posting 8 hours a day.

3) anyone got any experience with the vps' at xsserver
Or can you recommend me a VPS, that you have used/are using, and is working well.

xsserver. I use the cheapest windows package (You need wondows). I can run two copies side by side.

Good advise by UltimateSEO. But, if you don't mind spending the $35.00 then go with Xsserver.eu.

I use them and they are great. Get the $35 plan, you'll want the extra RAM, believe me.

I have so far used about 760GB of data over 16 days. So, i'm obviously going to go over the 1TB mark but I have been using it quite heavily, but I'll admit - I could push it a lot more. I could use 200GB a day if I Tried (but there is not much reason for me to do that)

But, xsserver.eu has unmetered VPS anyway, so I don't think you will have a problem And, best of all, it is a true 100mbps connection, I can download at 11mb/s - 12mb/s (although it is hard to keep it consistent at that level using SB)

hi! can this specs handle scrapebox. at first i am planning to do lets say, 1-2k links per day.

Windows XP Pro
version 2002
service pack 3

intel celeron 420
@1.60GHz
1GB RAM.

connection according to speedtest. net
download: 0.25 mbps
upload: 0.20 mbps.
