BEST Proxy Scraper / TESTER?

you are correct google passed does not mean elite.
but using anon proxies in scrapebox only matters if you
intend to post with them. but i strongly advise do not post
with public proxies ever and heres why.
this is a comment posted by a user of my service but it fits
your question.

You might ask yourself why you should use a public proxy list for harvesting
URLS when you have 10 to 20 fast private proxies. Just do a little test and
take 100000 keywords, use 3 proxies and start harvesting. After a while SB
will come to a grinding halt. Google blocked your proxies... Eventually they
will clear again but all this time you can't continue with your project.
So for massive harvesting with large keyword lists you will need hundreds
of proxies. Not funny when 20 proxies cost you about $50 a month.

when scraping with public proxies tested in scrapebox what u use doesnt
matter as long as they pass the google test. like this.

Is there any tool i can run at my dedicated linux server?
Why is there no program which can run 24/7 at a server.
Linux is much more stable so a good php script is what i really looking for.

I've used NiX Proxy Checker for a long time and I haven't found any better. You can read the testimonials from the site, and all the features. You can scan a million proxies easily within a day. It has google test, smtp, ssl. All the protocol detections are automatic, so you don't have to worry about running the same list for different protocols. This tool might be the best for you, but I myself just bought the NiX Proxy Suite because I wanted a GUI, which is what I wanted, I don't like to fiddle with CLI too much. The price is extremely reasonable for what it has to offer, I'm a happy customer, and I'm sure others are too.

Heres an image from my first check:
LOdv

And heres the leecher:
LOec

Here are 10 results I just scanned:
LOfE

And this is the reason I love the GUI version, I can see and search what I want within seconds.

i saw nix list google passed list of proxies posted tonight at 9pm 1300 of them
by 9.20 when ide finished testing them - 456 were google passed thats a loss
of 900+ google proxies that died in less than 20 mins. comment is based on the
list nix posted tonight at 9pm - when i tested 2/3 mins after he posted it and
re posted the results at 9.20. to loose 900 proxies in 20 mins isnt what ide call
that great.

as an example - nix is kinda in competition with me, hes been trying to beat the
amount of port scanned proxies i get through the google check for over a year
+ asking for my method several times..

but ille just say this. at 8pm yesterday i posted 2k google passed proxies for
my subscribers .. at 6 am this morning i re tested that same list 751 were still
passing google check 10 hrs later. the list i posted only dropped 1300 in 10 hrs.
his list of 1300 posted today dropped dead 900 in 20 mins.

nothing more to add...lol

wow nix looks damn good, at least its gui is quite clean

And it's web based, so I can install it on host machine and use it from anywhere. I can check from work if my checks have finished, and start some more, or leech some more proxies.

I really liked this post.
Some nice info, specially from the member 'proxygo'. (NO, I do not have any kind of business with him)
I could read a lot of good info about proxies.
I bought Scrapebox about 5 years ago and never had time to use it. I start to use it in these last weeks. One thing I need to haverst every day is 'proxy'.

I could read (in others posts, too) some people talking about softwares like a magic and every time the member 'proxygo' tried to explain they are not so 'special'. So, people wrote 'I like this or that', but nobody could say why they could be better than another software.
This was good because I was thinking about to buy an specific software to make the job and now I do not want to do it anymore. I plan to get at least 10 private proxies for posts and free ones to haverst (like I am already doing).

I will read a bit more about proxies. Specially about where to buy private ones.

Tks for all info!

nix proxy checker is beyond ridiculous, if you have the money to spend absolutely do it. The exclusive lists, the gui and the linux script are a god send. Everyone says their scraper is 'the last one you'll ever need.' This is it, I can not for the life of me see how it can get any better. He literally spent hours today setting up and teaching me how to use the linux script, after today I'm dropping all my private proxies and just running this.

the simple fact is, any tool that scrapes proxies such as proxy grabber
forum proxy leecher , anything called proxy leecher is only dragging up
proxies from posted on urls, so if you can scrape them, everyone with
a leecher can, this is why they die so fast, everyone is leeching from the
same pool of of forum posted url based public proxys. now if your happy
with that kind of thing and it gets you a few working proxies - no harm no foul.

the only fool proof way to get longer lasting public proxies less posted in the
public domain that a url scraper or harvester can not collect, is to port scan
them. NIX also knows this.

port scanning public proxies is hard work, it require knowing where to scan
which ports to use, and using the smallest ip block to scan that yields the
most proxies. people who say there port scanning millions of proxys are
wasting there time as you will never get more than 5/6k working public
proxies either scraped or port scanned. the only way to get more is with
a bot net which i completely DO NOT advise.

Hi,

Please explain how to port scan with ScrapeBox. Thank you.

proxygo is right but I would not call port scanning millions of proxies a waste of time. The larger subnets you scan, the more unlikely those proxies are to be listed on other services.

This is not about who gets most working proxies. I mainly scan for fast proxies with a reasonably good uptime. A good proof of what I just explained can be found from here: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/proxy-lists/459051-google-passes-proxies.html#post4573097

I posted those 10 scanned proxies approx. 24 hours ago, by now those proxies are being raped by thousands of users and still 4 are up. If I would not have shared those proxies, those proxies usually have several weeks uptime when less people use them.

This is also what proxygo just explained and I backed it up with real-life example.

Needless to say, how I can post those proxies that are not listed in google if I would not be doing those scans? It's definitely hard work and require knowledge but this is the reason I'll never have need to purchase private proxies.

you cant really port scan with scrapebox - to be able to port scan proxies
you need an ip port scanner . but , an ip port scanner is useless if you
dont have the ip ranges to scan. and considering the isp range goes
from 255.255.255.255 x 255.255.255.255 and within each digit is 255 decimals
if you dont have the ip blocks exactly t scan its a long hard road to find proxies
and anyone who claims other wise is talking out there ass..

now its no secret on bhw me an nix dont get along but hes right about 1
thing, port scanning proxies provides access to untapped public proxies
not listed, they last longer because no1 has them. only 2 things can
do this.. port scanning proxies or have alot of money to buy this many private
proxies which i dont use

I still do not know how to do it, but thank you for taking the time to explain.
Regards.

I have been reading a couple of posts under Proxies, and you have mentioned several tuts about using scrapebox to find proxies. I absolutely love scrapebox, I know how to use it intermediately but I'm having quite a trouble for proxies. So you input a custom footprint, say "anonymous proxies", put a couple of ports under keywords (which ports you recommend?), and hit harvest... now what? Use these URL's and save to text, then load to proxy harvester? or how exactly? Thanks alot.

anonymous proxies without quotes, put a couple of ports under keywords
use the most common ones 8080 - 80 - 3128 -
but remember this when scraping proxies from urls with scrapebox,
if you can scrape them, anyone can, so they dont last long
