Best Performing Article Formats ???

I was hoping some of the members with more experience would be so kind as to give some examples of the types of articles/content formats in which they have seen the best success consistently. For example, let's say I'm developing content for a niche site on synthetic motor oil (I'm not.) What types of titles and/or approaches would you be trying to use to generate your core content? To list some examples:

Best Synthetic Motor Oil Products
Top 5 Best Motor Oils
Read This Before Buying Synthetic Motor Oil
Brand X Synthetic Motor Oil Review
Why You Should be Using Synthetic Motor Oil

I know there's a million different variations for these types of titles, and I was really just wondering if anyone had been keeping track of any basic formats/formulas that they had seen the most success with. Typically, I just look at a really popular authority site within a niche, check out their blog, and generalize their approaches. It seems like the bulk of the most successful sites just use simple top 5 (or however many) lists, reviews, and general click bait which just seems cheesy. My curiosity has been struck because I'm working on a new project where the review format is really applicable, and I could benefit from really leveraging different methods of drawing interest and sending referrals to the merchant I'm working with.

Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

For SEO you want either your keyword, an LSI, or brand in the title. Also CHECK GOOGLE to be sure its a unique title. Other than that you essentially go for pure click bait. Something like "5 Brands of Motor Oil That Won't Destroy Your Engine." if you see where I'm going. Click bait.

Yeah, I guess tested ideas for clickbait is what I'm after really. Let's assume I've got my KW, related terms when possible, and have done enough title comp research to pull the trigger. I expect to text numerical variations myself such as "X Top Motor Oils," but was just wondering if anyone had any favorite formats for titles that they'd be willing to share w/their experiences using them.

Clickbaiting is the way to go. It's catchy and gets attention, and that's the main thing you need.

Clickbaitin is what in my view you should use, is what best suits the market

Click-baiting is the better idea for getting catchy and attractive headings.
Because the visitors will mainly look the keywords they are searching and attractive titles.
So,this method will really help you to magnetize more visitors.
