Go to webhostingtalk, look inside shared hosting deals, you need free dedicated IP and SSL (discounted or also free) preferably with MariaDB instead of MySQL and ssd storage.

Choose location that is closest to your target audience demographics so you get better loading speeds.


Avoid Hostgator, Godaddy and bluehost, also all generic shitty hostings out there.

I wouldn't recommend you to go with godaddy or hostgator. For managed wordpress hosting, try WPEngine. If you want affordable wordpress hosting, you can go ahead with asphostportal.com. You can blog with around $7.00/month which is quite affordable

Honest expert opinions about GoDaddy and Hostgator will be told to you eventually on this thread.

As for Blogging is concerned, its a no brainer to chose wordpress for creating blog sites. Hence, if you can find dedicated Wordpress hosting around, chose that as it is constructed simply to enhance wordpress experience.

Use the free hosting from Wordpress and buy a domain so you can better brand yourself. Their hosting is virtually bulletproof, and you won't have to pay a cent for it.

I recommend hostwinds or arvixe. For whitehat niches much better if you use arvixe. They have free domain each time you get a new hosting plan.
