Ok, here you go. This is how you actually make money blogging.

First…Yes, you can do it.

It’s not too late. It doesn't matter if your not a great writer. It doesn’t matter if you don’t think you have anything to say. What does matter is that you are willing to put the effort in.

Second…Some ground rules.

  • If you are going to be a successful blogger then the number one thing you have to do is JUST GET STARTED BLOGGING. Secure hosting and start a blog today.
  • If you are going to be a successful blogger then the number two thing you have to do is be consistent. You don’t have to blog for 4 hours a day, everyday. Sure you are going to have to put a little more time in up front as you learn a new skill. But after you get comfortable you can realistically run a successful blog for around 8 hours a week.
Third…Chose a blog topic or niche.

Don’t go after niches or topics that you think will make a lot of money. You are going to be creating a lot of content. Make sure it’s a topic you are interested in. You don’t have to be knowledgeable about it. You can learn, and the write, and then learn, and then write. But you have to be interested in it.

Fourth…Find products for sale on Amazon related to your niche.

Hint: This should be easy…Amazon sells EVERYTHING.

Fifth…Join the Amazon associates program.

It’s their affiliate program. When you refer someone to their site…and they buy something…you make a percentage of the sales. Sure the percentage you make from an Amazon referral is a lot smaller than what you make from say a Clickbank sale. But Amazon sales convert. You don’t even need to know how to sell. Amazon does all the work for you. You just have to get them there (ethically.)

Remember 8% of something is a heck of a lot better than 75% of nothing.

Sixth…Write product reviews.

Write honest reviews about products related to your blog. Give the pros and cons and tell people where they can purchase the product if they are interested (hint: Amazon using your affiliate link.)

Seventh…Cast your net.

Write interesting articles that target a very specific topic. If you start a fitness blog don’t waste your time writing articles like “How to Get Awesome Abs.” There is a crap load of competition from people who have been doing this way longer than you.

Instead focus on articles like “Should I Eat Blueberries or Strawberries on My Granola in the Morning When I’m Planning on Running 7 Miles in the Afternoon?”

Ok, that might be a little too specific, but you get my point. Dig deeper than everyone else. And then at the end of the post maybe put a link to a different article titled “3 of My Favorite Pairs of Running Shorts” where you recommend 3 awesome pairs of running shorts that happen to be for sale on Amazon.

Just make sure the product review is related to the original article.

And that’s how you make money blogging.

And as you grow then you can do things like create your own courses and private label products related to your blog and sell them on Amazon. But it’s totally reasonable to make $1200 to $2000 per month, per blog, with only affiliate commissions from Amazon.

If you want to scale and grow faster…you might consider branching out to YouTube. A lot of people think youtube is saturated or that it’s too late. However, quite the opposite is true.

It's alright to upload a post everyday until you get a considerable number of posts and reaches. But we have to make sure the posts we put up are rich in quality. So we should spend more time on creating a great one post instead of creating many posts with in that time.

The key is high quality content, a lot of them, and silo structure, do it consistently (1-2 years) than your blog is golden.

Thank's !, i also add knowing how to reference your blog to attract more people.

I've been trying to do this for a month but now I'm a little discouraged because the competition is high.
Your post has given me encouragement and I will continue to work hard.
On youtube is better to focus on the seo articles so that they attract visitors to the amazon posts?

But.. How do you get traffic for such a website? I run a tech blog and I tried affiliate marketing for a while. Even with thousands reads per article per day I didn't sell anything.

Well, it is the hard way. You can always have the lazy ways by using spinner, PBN, etc. Good luck.

Great share ,in this period of covid19 i see a lot of people starting with blogs projects and i was wondering in wich topics they write ,mean is it in relation with covid or other topics ?

Thanks for sharing ,I have a website where I have implemented amazon affiliate products already , and I have a part which says blog. does that mean , just by writing reviews , I can make sales? without even doin the marketing ?

Thankfully, there's a shortcut to all this

After you select your niche, use it as a keyword filter for the method mentioned here: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/t...l-change-your-life-a-must-see-thread.1172854/

Next, find related or similar sites using tools like SEMRUSH

Next, select target sites in terms of backlink competition and low number of published content

Next, run all content urls through SEMRUSH / AHREFS / MOZ - find content that does ALL of the following
- ranks for low competition keywords
- kws get decent search volumes

Scrape the TOPICS and keywords and rewrite your content

Make sure your content is SUPERIOR and LONGER using the SKYSCRAPER METHOD
