Most of the keyword research tools run on the same principle. They just suggest some long-tail keyword based on your query that can easily be found with Google Searches manually.
I don't really think it's worth using the free tools. It is much better to get a trial on Ahrefs and use it for 7 days till your credit runs out. You may be thinking that you're spending 7$, but in the end, you could spend much more than that and lose your valuable time if you go after the wrong niche.
