Hey,
I have a shopify store and my conversion rate is currently 2.1% overall.
I dont think that's bad but its not great either.

Can anyone recommend good and high converting shopify themes?
I am currently using a free theme supplied by shopify

Thanks!

Just do a quick YouTube search and find the theme that best suits you.

I did that but they basically all try to sell you something. No one is really saying the truth, they all claim their theme will increase your conversion by 5%

I never use this "converting" themes because they look "spammy" I just make my own theme and adjust it to my liking. Most of the conversions are done through the plugins anyway.

Sure if you don't mind me asking, what are the plugins that you felt were the best addition to your website?

the truth is look around online get 10 shops in your niche , match the most popular one up useing same theme , and copy them...

that simple, you no they convert , worth using .

most work done already online just repeat.

ppl might say your a copy cat , atleast your banking ignore them.

same with what there selling , check the 10 shops ,and make notes of best selling items .

yes it that simple

the problam with online business it all in front of us all ,anyone with any brains can copy anythink and bank.(( you can make it that easy or keep doing it the hard way and get headaches))

I somewhat agree, although you have to copy and change a bit to the better. Cause if you are just copying, then people will obviously prefer him since he's the bigger brand.

Why not spend the time finding out the problem with your theme, and find where you are loosing buyers IF your having any problems at all. Swapping themes might improve but it might also make things worse. Unless your analysing your traffic and how people use your website your always going to be looking for a 'new' theme.

2% isn't a bad conversion rate depending on your niche and market though! I think average globally it's 3%

IF sales are down I assume you have basic sales funnel set up so you can see where you are loosing the most amount of customers?

Id start there and then look at comparing the pages, do some testing adding some delivery messages, security reassurances if the product is high value, if its adult stress privacy.

If it's on the basket are you showing the total break down clearly, is there any issues checking out on a mobile (clearance with buttons no overlap etc) is delivery prices clear? Spelling mistakes, is taxes showing correctly or not if your not showing tax yet you still have TAX column..

Just some thoughts on what to look and to break each page / step down. If all is well look at time spent on page, get some image maps and other goals set up to see what are people are doing and where the hang ups are..
