A question I've been mulling over.
Decent SEO without subscribing i.e you buy product for a one off price.
    (or have a hacked version)

What are the best 5 options here.
Please answer this as if you were buying them yourself. 3 options that all do the same thing are no good.

I'm thinking Keyword, on site SEO, offsite SEO others.
What are the best 5 NONE SUBSCRIPTION products about.

Not wanting to be rude to start off, but please no stack of answers going "Why don't you want subscription"

Looking forward to seeing what the BHW brains trust comes up with.

    1. Market Samurai
    2. MNF

And one from a lateral thinking POV, I would also look into outsourcing SEO to some of those firms based in Pakistan or India.. they do really good work for really cheap. A friend got one of his competitive niche sites onto PR2 in less than a few weeks through one of these companies. Paid just under $300 & didn't really have to do any work apart from supply a couple of articles on the topic of choice. The company did the rest including design the site.. pretty awesome!

SEO Book has a lot of good 'white hat' info. It's $300/month, but just buy it and grab all the info and cancel after the first day, will only cost you $10 (he gives refunds on a prorated basis.)

    Thanks all.

I found no other thread like this BTW.
The idea is a "pack" a one off investment to get you started.

I found most of the subscription stuff is great for "scaling up" but for someone starting their first site (and spending 3 month to a year cocking it all up left right and centre) then a one off investment is a lot safer.

Personally, I use several subscriptions. (I have had 5 or 6 on the go at once)
Too many to measure the success/impact of any individual one.

Also found some of them - some well known ones - are pretty useless. A well known (perhaps the best known) article submission service has so few sites with a rank above PR3 that youd be better off posting manually.

A well known subs site with keywords is always 6 months behind with it's database. "Kindle" for example only appeared in April - at least 5 months after I got the same information from Google keywords, and long after it, and most associated keywords were stuccoing the porcelain in a saturated market.

Another (again no names) auto site builder and control system that sells for a cocking fortune has a google visible footprint the size of a small African country, and Google fecking HATES the sites it churns out, recognising them a mile off, and slapping them up-side the head the minute they are made.

And of course seeing $300 a month going on subs would be a disaster for someone starting up and cocking it up.

@ younguy -"I got enough threads...."

    Your thread?

If you don't like it don't read it.
Like I say, I searched for 40 minutes and found no other thread specifically asking for best none subs products.
It might not matter to you but it does to some. Stop trolling threads you have no interest in

I haven't counted, but Market Samurai, Scrapebox and MNF seem to be pretty consistent in people list.
(just for those who want to "cut to the chase")

Thanks for the feedback folks. I do appreciate it.

Yes - I use/like Xrumer (actually that's not quite true - I stopped using it two months ago when I cancelled all but three of my subs products)

But is it a subs service. Always worth recommending, but not really what I'm after

I prefer IBP (especially top 10 optimization report)... IBP compares your site with top 10 results in search engines and then gives you a comprehensive report which is great help if you are optimizing your site... They also give guarantee that your site will rank if you follow them... It's one time cost but there is sub involve but very cheap and it keep your IBP updated with latest changes in search engines....

Then i also use MNF (good for looking into niches) and scrapebox...

Good call. IBP is something I've never glanced at. Not sure how it guarantees top ten google. I mean what if 11 IBP owners want the same word to rank for their site? (never mind the millions of other people)

It's a high end product, so I'm going to look into it (it's one of the few mentioned so far that I don't have, so I'm very interested)

Thanks again for the heads up.

LOL don't worry you are not gonna get your site 100% optimized... SO no one is going to get guarantee and money back... Almost every niche got sites like wikipedia or amazon or ezine or other similar sites which will make it all most impossible to get your site 100% optimized... Never mind it got so many advantages that I am not interested in getting money back even if none of my sites rank... At least it ensures that I had a headstart with others and only have to fight some serious people...

    Ok.

    This is where I'm at.

Several free article submitters (well free hacked ones) One pasts to about 40 high ranking sites - another to a few hundred crappy ones. Put together that's ok by me. (I post to Ezine and Buzzle individually)

The best spinner ($77 a year)

Deep linker Pro. Site and some individual pages/posts using the deep link option

Bookmarking Demon (long set up - but very good) add several sites a week (10-12 accounts per site)

    Scrapebox.

10 proxies for the above ($25 or less for dedicated fast proxies. free ones scraped are - well free obviously, but 10 paid ones are well worth it)

    Ongoing cost = 25 a month plus 77 a year

so about 30 a month in total

    Get articles spun,submitted.
Web pages posts submitted to deep link and social sites
Spend a few hours scraping places to post or adding count to my articles

Now I'm not saying this replaces everything that SE-Nuke could do, and it certainly takes more time to set up. But for the cost - pro rata - if you're prepared to put the effort in to set up these tools properly (synonyms, memberships, accounts, proxies etc) then it works out pretty good value (scratch that - I think it's brilliant value)

It's not exactly what I wanted to establish. I wanted ZERO cost. Without the proxies it would be very small, and you could use a free article spinner if you had to. but for under $30 a month total it's a decent set up.

    Recap

    • The Best Spinner ($77 may get pay.com commission)
    • Mass Article Submitter and Article Submitter (free - ahem)
    • Deep Linker Pro ($33.50 if bought as a clickbank affiliate)
    • Bookmarking Demon ($73.50 if bought as clickbank affiliate)
    • Scrapebox ($60? cant remember)
    • 10 x Proxies (24 max)
So 250 dollars plus 20 a month gets you a pretty comprehensive toolkit.
Note - join CB and buy under your hoplink to save cash. Clickbank completely allow this technique. If you don't like CB just scrap your account afterwards.

You could do without proxies (scrapebox finds a few public ones for you that might do just enough - just don't ping your own articles with them - it rarely works) and you could get a free spinner (though Best is BEST) but that would give you a ZERO monthly outgoing!

The 2 Clickbank purchases alone should trigger the minimum payment, and a couple of weeks later you'll get a payment for your "referral" from CB

Like I said, it doesn't compete with SE nuke on all features. It takes some know how to set them all up (not much though) it takes some TIME to set them all up (definitely) BUT for $250 or less you get a toolbox that should get you rockin' and rollin'.

I have NOTHING to do with any of the products or services above, but I was keen to find a solution that didn't involve a big outgoing a month. I prefer to pay a few hundred dollars up front and own the software - change or add individual bits as I see fit for a one off cost.

So for $250 up front and a little a month - only if you want to - I think you should be able to get a real head start into just about any area of IM that will help.

Me? I'm about to install Xrumer on a server I'm configuring now, but 18 months ago a kit like the above would have saved me a fecking fortune, a lot of frustration, and got me making money a hell of a lot quicker than I did.

    Scritty

    EDIT

Keyword tools. I use Googles and an excel sheet I made myself. Always have, always will. I get EXCELLENT results. However, if I was in the microniche site business I would definitely add microniche finder -and possibly Keyword Samurai as weel. But I'm not - so I don't.

No one knows Googles keyword relevance better than Google - and they tell you exacly what the words are, for free. Though a quick VBA macro to append 6 or 7 searches together is something I've developed over time.
