Beginner SEO'er - How am i progressing?

Hi guys. I'm a beginner at SEO and i started reading up / learning about it around 2 weeks ago after i found BHW. Since then I've developed a few sites to try and build up my skills and knowledge.

The first site i made was to do with a fashion show and the models that star in it, victoria's secret fashion show. Basically it's a blog where i post 'hot' so to say pictures of the models. Each to their own catergory etc. I've been doing some KW research today and found that i am page ranked 1 position #2 for a KW with around 2,900 monthly searches. I'm also ranked Page rank #2 with a position of around #4 on that page for a keyword with 33,100 monthly searches. I have yet to check some other KW's :).

Am i progressing at a slow pace or am i doing okay for a beginner?

The blog get's around 500 UV daily.

You are doing well you lucky poop. I'm at 9 days fully absorbed 14 hours a day researching and haven't come close to that!
 
If you're getting those images off google, then I suggest you get a lawyer. If you're not then you're doing very well.
 
Be carefull with the images.

Anyway,you're lucky to achive this results.
Soon you'll see there's A LOT more to learn about seo.

Most of them are royalty free, but some aren't i don't think. If anything come's of it, i'll just remove them instantly without fail.

I believe "royalty free" means that after you buy the image, you don't have to pay the author every time you use it. But you sitll have to buy the image for it to be legal.

Well that's a fail on my behalf, i meant copyright free :).
 
That's real nice! I have 2 websites and they aren't even on the first 100 pages of Google yet. May I ask what tools are you using? I'm going to get some bucks tomorrow and hopefully I can spend some monies on some software.

I'm so used to making webapps, I dont have to seo at all and still get views thanks to Google Play, would get more if I knew SEO. I also have a website with images of hot chicks that I took from torrents, I think I have the largest "hot chick" gallery in Google play, but I want my authority sites to take off!

Glad to see you are seeing results, I hope to get 500/day within the next week or 2!

You do realize that about 90% of people on the internet uses images from other sites? You really think, a company will have enough time to come after you for using their pictures on your website?

I thought that too and unless my site ever goes viral, then i don't think there's a chance they'll give a shi* about my tiny blog :).
 
Within two weeks you have done a good a job.What is your link building method?

Thanks for the support :). I used no tools to rank the model blog. I just put a lot of effort into a few keywords :). I've just started a brand new test blog from scratch and did some SEO on it. Going to wait until it's indexed then do a bit more seo work and see where i end up. Might even make a journey thread for the site tomorrow :).
