Been a SEO Guru

Hello Curious73,

thanks a lot for the tools of mathew wood ward, I have to say for what I read it is exactly what I am looking for, has great tutorials and helps you a lot with tools, the only book I am reading is "The Art of SEO", once I finish it I want to try most tutorials on one of my blogs, to test.

If I have questions? I will open a thread here since as you said is BHW is one of the best if not the best resource of SEO on the net.

Thanks a lot to everyone, if there is anything else please don't hesitate to tell me because I really want to learn to be really good at SEO.

Cheers!

You have the wrong approach totally, first try to find yourself in that niche, and if you see you really like, then you will start to study it days and months and at the end you will know how things are working here, and then try to work a bit to see how all is working in practice, then after you have all in your hands after months and months of work you can call yourself SEO "guru" but i suggest you to not do that because people today believe in gurus like in Santa Claus.

any one that calls himself a GURU or SEO Rockstar is actually a Clickbank book seller and is only after your money and will only promise you stars. Try, Fail and learn from your mistakes and make a note of it. [REDO]

I think we can all agree a guru is somebody full of s**t who found a bunch of idiots who buy into his deception. I'm a complete newbie at seo but common sense tells me there's no such thing as a guru in seo. Maybe somebody good, yeah, but I think no matter what the thing you're into is, there's always something to learn so you never reach a point where you're knowing everything.

Build a website, practice what you learn. The rest of it is trial and error.
