It cost about 4,000$USD to spend the summer here. Her father helped out with the money. She spent the summer working at a grocery store 50-60 hours a week, spent a weekend in D.C. and six days in NYC on her way home.

What she needs to get by right now is about 10,000 rubles a month which is not a lot in dollars, $175-200 a month.
