Hi CSA, I refer to your comment "Don't overstuff your keywords, in some cases google uses that as a spam indicator. "
So, do you have some recommended figure or percentage how many keywords are maximum in the a page?
Let say in a 1000 word post/page, I have 50 keywords. Is it too much?

Hi ZMakarov, Robots.txt allows the google bot to index the web content and effectively crawl your website. It can specify which site section you don't want google to access. But be careful as it has some vulnerabilities. The file is publicly available file, so anyone can see which section you don't want robot to see. Spammers use malware robot to scan for the site to check for security vulnerability and email addresses.

What I personally do is look for keywords related to the photo that I'm going to use, but I will use the "web" tab and type in the keyword to make sure that images come up along with the organic page results for that image. I don't want an image that one can only find when they are searching in google using the images tab.. I try to get the benefit of both the web results and the image results if that makes sense. Just a tip that may help to get more traffic and impressions for your images especially if you can get them to show up in the top 5 of the images for that search that is being done.

Rename your pictures.
If you have a couple of pictures of photos in your page, rename them with relevant keywords.
Example: if you have a site about selling Ford Mustang.
Rename the first pix/photo as 1964-ford-mustang-for-sale.jpg
and the second one as used-ford-mustang-cheap.jpg
instead of the usual photo1.jpg and photo2.jpg

That will bring more images traffic as well.

I actually started with SEO with the basic practices on MOZ. So I think people planning to learn SEO should learn from there too.

In fact, MOZ has a very good tutorial for newbies and it helped me a lot several years ago

Yep, MOZ has great stuff for newbies. Also check out QuickSprout's SEO guide, also interesting stuff there.
