Basic SEO practices for newbies:

Currently in the process of rebuilding / optimising a site, details about keyword density and meta keywords is helpful. As per others, thank you for putting in the effort to share your knowledge. Now just to conquer local search for a medium competition kw.
 
This is a great read... people know a lot here and being a newbie, I feel like a noob and lost :D
 
I can't describe how much this helped me. I went from feeling lost regarding SEO and all the sub-topics, to having a basic understanding of it all, thanks to this article. So glad I found it!
 
If you ask me i would say you have done a very good job mate, those who know don't really claim to know, they just share a few tips and that's how you know they know haha if that makes any sense :) Good job

They are great points many people are paying money for it !!

But I would like to add something to it, sorry for that but I am facing sometimes these kind of question from newbies

If these newbies are just started then believe me some of them they would lost too in these info, because many of them they even don't know how to create robots.txt file !! in that level !!!

Also many of them they don't know what is anchor code means? and other issues! or even how to use it with comments ?

So, I think if we don't flood it "these info" and provide some of them with details would be more helpful

Or if there are the majority of them they understand these 100 % then I think I can not call them Newbies or call them Newbies next level at least !

the basic SEO techniques are blog commenting, directory and URL submission and forum submissions. this will help to boost keywords as well as also create backlinks.
 
This is pretty much the very bare basics, but I guess some people are still clueless. I wish you didn't have to always submit a new sitemap whenever your change the design of the website. There should be a way that it auto-submits?
