But this is why you start your "resource" off correctly. Sure, something's always going to outrank something else. That's just the way that it works. But why not set your website up to rank flawlessly for what you want it to rank for? Don't allow your fear of someone else outrank you, to cause you to go lackluster on your qualitative efforts.

I've heard that in your h1, h2 tags...the closer your keyword is to the beginning, the better. i.e "keyword" blah,blah blah is better than blah,blah,blah "keyword"
 
Well, that is a very good lists of ideas for newbies... its all about hard work and of course the perseverance of researching new techniques or whatever latest in the world of SEO.

It looks like lot many things have changed after the last two google updates. We are only focusing on quality content and social media nothing else than that. May be we need to look around for new things.
 
For basic SEO, you should also know that flash based website is not seo friendly, best platform for seo is wordpress ,joomla,or custom php scripts
