Banned From Sending Friends Requests on Facebook?

So i made a fake profile, and added a home town that has a big culture that has to do with my niche, then i searched up that town in "add friends" and i sent maybe 20 requests, and I got message saying

"You have been banned from sending friends requests, and sending messages for 2 days"

this ever happen to anyone else?
how can i prevent it?

You were banned because a few people reported that they had no clue who you were and you had a fake account.
 
but it was within less than a minute?
 
This sadly is nothing new. FB has come down hard on friends requests...even mutual friend requests.
 
Were both accounts on the same IP? The trick is getting people to send you requests.
 
Has happened to us all. Can't just mass invite people anymore. Gotta be a little more sneaky. Like abyssal said, you gotta make them send you requests.
 
In less than a minute you sent 20 friend requests to random people...Don't you think it looks suspicious.
It has happened to me several times and after trial and error I came to a solution that never send request to more than 5-7 people if you are sending requests to random people.
However if you are sending requests to your friends of friends then this looks obvious and you can send 20-30 or may be more friend requests.
 
you need to slow down next time buddy and yea it has happened to nearly every one of us so time to learn and move on that is what we all do....
 
is your account verified? because unverified accounts can be banned quickly, and try adding slow at first.
 
i've found slow and steady wins the race and using csvs helps too!
 
Try posting on a Mafia wars type gorup - asking people for adds to expand your gang. That way, you'll get a multiple number of requests - it will take time, but eventually you'll get there. You can do this for things like farmville etc etc.
 
The flow of BAN goes like this --

2 days -- 7 days -- 14 days -- 1 month -- FOREVER :D

just add people who you think will accept ur friend request, obviously on the Add me groups and pages.

if you adding..don't add very fast , add 10 people for 1 week or so and than start adding alot of them.

Go slow and steady..and facebook wont get hold of you...also you need to verify by mobile number.

I am not sure if it happens this way every single time, but I recently got hit with the two-day block on one of my accounts and I waited 5 days before sending out anymore friends requests and on the fifth day when I finally did decide to send out more friend requests I only sent out 5 requests (back to back, all had 70-110 mutual friends) and within 30 minutes the account was disabled.

Mind you, this account had 10 pics, ALL profile information filled out, I liked/joined lots of pages and groups, allowed at least three apps, and would perform normal organic activity across the account every single day.

FB has unfortunately really come down hard on friend requests these days. :(

was it a verified account?

I just tried out to see how would fb ban and it went from 2 days to forever..in this sequence thrice.. just shared my experience.

Btw i Never got banned on a Verified account on which some activity is Done day to day , if yours was verified than thats strange?

Yes, it was verified and the account was over 6 months old, but it was verified with a foreign number.
