Hi Timex247
There are lots and lots of resources on the web that give you ideas for backlinks.
But to give you a couple of ideas:
1. The Wikipedia method.
Basically this entails looking on wikipedia for pages that relate to the content type you offer and then creating links to your site.
I am not going to bother writing a big long explanation on the different ways this can be applied, because you can do a search on Google and lots of people have written e-books on this.
Now you won't get a ******** link from wikipedia, but you will get a ton of traffic and if you do it more in a white hat way (even tho you are really doing it in a BH way), you should keep the links for a while.
Wikipedia is one of the most searched sites on the web, so you should get a steady stream of traffic from this method.
I have used it with a few of my sites and as I say... If done right, then you can really benefit!
2. Create a list the right way
OK, so in this method, you need to get a high ranking web 2.0 site and do a useful list of resources in your specific niche.
The key factor here is that your list should include links to a few resources (among your other resources), that already rank well in Google.
Once you have the list built and published, you want to reach out to the owners of the high ranking resources and entice them to link to your resource list page. This way (if done right) should get you mentions on social media, with a ton of links and traffic.
Obviously with all backlink building techniques, you need to take a little care in setting it all up.
Hope these methods help you get started![]()
