True, nothing comes free. BUT what I was saying was that if you have zero budget then you are your best tool - you can build backlinks in loads of ways - creating web 2.0 sites, contacting sites in your niche and asking for backlink / link exchange, writing guest posts for other sites, writing articles for article directories, submiting your site to normal directories (Better high quality / niche related etc), posting on niche related forums and the list goes on.

just find niche related sites, offer them guest post in your niche, write quality
