relevancy , anchor text diversity and social presence are some important factors to keep in mind , PBN (if you how to use them) understand the genre of your business and where your targeted audience is. you make money by selling products/services not by ranking a site on google . if your targeted audience is at social network then focus on SMM aswell .

All the same stuff works that did last year.
PBN, Web 2.0 and editorials + tier blasting.
The only thing that changed last year is it's much harder to rank youtube videos in the SERPs for competitive keywords.

This is the best advice you should give to anyone, whatever I have learned from blackhatworld is enormous but what I've learned from my testing gave me the best results.

Black hat seo methods works well in 2015 same is in 2014, just use it smart...
also PR of google was not updated from 2013, so at this time no matter PR of sites course there is a lot of sites with good rankings from which backlinks are high appreciated by Search Engines, but they have pr 2-4...
