Backlink type question

Hi,
I've been doing some backlink research and came through a main site that has backlinks from various other sites feed with anchor.
The backlinks looks like this:
http://www.othersite.com/feed/
http://www.anothersite.com/feed/
I've checked for the feeds and there is no main site url there.

Is there any tool that can build this kind of links?
Were the backlining sites hacked?
Or this is a kind of linking method from a PBN?

Any input would be welcome.

It's hard to say anything without url, but it could be propably kinda old method of using WP RSS modification provided some time ago by Charles Floate.

They're either cloaking the links out or the feed has scrolled past the page where the link was.

If urls of any help these are three backlinks:

And this is the main site: https:// www. aoliv. club/

The backlinking sites look legit to me but definitely wordpress.
I've read some old articles about how to add links into your site's rss feed and then build backlinks to that but you have to control the site for that right?
I haven't found anything about wp rss modification from Charles what's that? Haven't heard about him for a while now either. Maybe I should visit the lounge more often?

Yes I'm OK with that but how can I place my URL into that feed?

Thanks guys! I looked into it a bit more closely and yes, it's no hacking involved. Just plain old articles and links scrolled past. Thanks again!
