Let's cut to the chase.
I've been running my own marketing/SEO business for nearly six years. I'm not rich but I turn over more in a month that some will in a year. I've had many wins, with many mentions on the national and local news for clients etc. I"ve also had failures, nearly lost EVERYTHING but I don't quit, got over it and all is very good.
I have three full-time staff, two freelancers, motorbikes, I race motorbikes which isn't cheap and live comfy very comfy in a nice farmhouse.
My point - Even though I'm living a good life... I never stop learning and try to remember my roots of starting with NOTHING at all. I've had bailiffs at the door, tax man shaking me down and all sorts but got over it, learnt and learnt some more!
So one thing I've never really played with is dropshipping. So here we go!
I found this thread which is quite detailed about drop selling by @Billy Batts. It's quite a read!
I've just set up a site in a semi-competitive niche. I'll be drop shipping via AliExpress for now while I learn. I'll be using the AliDropShip plugin after reading a couple of posts on here!
I have not added products etc, yet. I have got a free theme for the plugin and for graphics, I will not be using ANY paid tools at all. I found this thread by @Asif WILSON Khan who made a list of 400 free tools
At the moment. The site has cost me around $100 to get set up. I've spent maybe 4 hours of my time which I will not be including as a tally up for now else that would quadruple quite easily.
My aim - I will be trying my hardest to ignore everything that I know. I will not be telling my staff, wife or anyone except you guys.
I will be ONLY using ranking or marketing methods from this website ONLY - I will be looking at some of the popular threads, using them word for word! I will not be putting my own twists on it!
My first tasks are keyword research - I only build/SEO/Market sites for clients or stuff that I have an interest in!
For this, I have picked a niche related to animals, an animal that I don't really like so I have no interest at all, just so I have to really read, learn and take action!
I have found two threads that I really like fo keyword research. The first is quite old and I've never thought about it but I can imagine this still works even now! (must think like a rookie)
The first one is this by @BassTrackerBoats who used Wikipedia to do his keyword research
I then discovered that I have to do this as a modern-day rookie - I can't use my Adwords accounts to get the true search volume of keywords. As I'm being a rookie, I can't buy a tool etc so I need to find a free way to see how many searches a keyword has, just like a rookie. Sadly back in 2013 when the thread was written, anyone cold get real search volume from Adwords.
I found this thread by @davids355 that shows you how to get free search volume for keywords He also goes into picking a niche within a niche which I liked, my 'niche' is flooded with affiliates and all sorts so it will not be an overnight success at all so I've pinched some of his tips.
I will be updating this once a week at the least, at the end of each month I will add data in the format of:
p,s - I wil be spending half a day a week on this due to business commitments. So, if I do this by spending 4 hours a week, someone who doesn't work or run a business SHOULD be able to do it a LOT quicker!!

I will be updating this once a week at the least, at the end of each month I will add data in the format of:
- How many keywords the website is ranking for.
- How much traffic in that month.
- How many sales,
- How much PROFIT I have made.
- Mentioning which thread I have found interesting from social accounts to maybe emailing, nothing is out as long as its about getting traffic to the site.
p,s - I wil be spending half a day a week on this due to business commitments. So, if I do this by spending 4 hours a week, someone who doesn't work or run a business SHOULD be able to do it a LOT quicker!!
