Avoiding Scams & Staying Safe On Black Hat World

Fantastic contribution! This valuable information will undoubtedly protect many individuals from falling victim to scams!

As a retired seller of bhw, i sold products here for 11 yrs
across 5 sales threads, i was scammed 0 times.

my Mother may she rest in piece had an old saying.
If you ever catch a weasel asleep - piss in its ear.

loose translation - the weasel knows your coming
long b4 they see you.

sellers need to watch out - just as much as buyers.

Great one. This is so helpful not just for BHW but in general for Internet.
This is gonna save so many people for sure.

And another question, is buying cryptocurrencies allowed here?
No, sorry, per the terms of service that is not allowed:

3.3 Activity that involves Currency Trades or Exchanges (Example: Exchanging PayPal for any crypto or other monetary assets - including eGold), Buying/Selling CPA accounts, Buying/Selling Social Security Numbers or Identities, CPA offer filling circles, Paying to have CPA offers filled, Requesting fake review comments for other forums' Marketplace sections, Digg / Stumble (or similar) requests and trades, Asking how to make $xxx/day, Any "fake" account for the purposes of defrauding a network or individual, promoting other forums by any means including in your signature, promotion of coaching or training services, creating more than one account on BHW for the purposes of post count inflation or gaming the system.

Only the Marketplace Seller upgrade is $499.99.

You can simply wait until you have $100 posts, upgrade your account for $97, and pay an additional $30 to list your marketplace thread ($127.00 total; after it's reviewed, of course).

If you can't afford $127.00, you can't open a marketplace thread.
Sounds good! me too i have same problem

Great article!
This will prevent many people from falling victim to scams!

Whats the best way to handle people that post on your thread saying you scammed them and deleted messages when this is definitely not the case. Can you just remove the comment or do we reply?

Apologies to the late response here.

Report the comment so that a marketplace team member can review it. If they're claiming you scammed them, then it's technically a dispute issue and should be handled there.

Thanks for very good information. Bhw is taking things seriously for sure!

Here's what I've learned: Don't rush into buying just because you're afraid of missing out. Be patient and take the time to understand who you're dealing with. If anything is going to get you into trouble, it's impatience. Thanks.

I was scammed, how do I report the people who scammed me?

Great post! With so many people getting scammed these days, it's important that everyone takes note of this.
